As previously mentioned on The Look (see Street Style Paving), street style is now seen as having a legitimate input into the fashion industry, whether on the catwalk or amongst the vast network of fashion bloggers operating via the blogosphere 24/7.
Online editions of high-fashion magazines are now embracing street style photographers as the people-in-the-know, as the trend forecasters for the coming seasons. Company.co.uk and Vogue.co.uk are currently my top picks for Street Style finds, especially during Fashion Week.
Inundated with photos from the most stylish metropolitan cities all over the world on a daily basis, it’s rare that we glance those behind the lens. For the most part though, those who capture these stunning pictures are amateur bloggers and fashion-obsessives themselves.
The fact that they are predominantly amateur bloggers inspires hope for the rest of us who are casually snapping away on a good day.
