So finally, the much anticipated Nicole Sherzinger range, “Nicole x Missguided” has arrived online. After all of them exciting, sex-appealing advertisements and days upon days of waiting impatiently – it’s here.
And being honest, I can’t say I’m too impressed. Nicole and Missguided have played it safe in my opinion. All of the clothes in the range vary from plain-jane monochrome or one splash of colour – cobalt blue. That’s basically it. But apart from the lack of colour, everything is very ‘Nicole’. Nothing is too revealing. She is a professional at combining sex appeal and class and making it WORK. Most of the dresses are midis and the ones that aren’t are the perfect length to maintain an elegant look. Nicole modelled all of the dresses herself and she completely rocked every single one – but then again she could wear a black plastic bag and still look ‘shamaze’!
Here’s a few outfits from her collection:
Shift Dress With Fishnet Panel In White – €48.84
This dress is one of my favourites from the range. It is basic but very wearable for people of any shape or size!
Monochrome Colour Block Bodycon Mini Dress – €55.81
Colour blocking is really ‘in’ at the moment and this dress also oozes vintage 60s style. The dash of leather also adds a rock-chick edginess.
Panelled Midi Skirt In Cobalt Blue – €34.88
Although this is the only colour in the range, it is a gorgeous colour! It looks great on any skin tone and matches up with any hair colour also. The midi length of this skirt is classy but is discreetly sexy too.
Long Sleeve Bodysuit With Fishnet Contrast In White – €27.91
So, this is where I think things went wrong. Personally, I think that that much leather is a bit too much and it just doesn’t really make sense. I don’t even think Nicole is pulling it off, which is odd. Maybe it’s just me! Anyway, you can find the rest of her stuff on http://www.missguided.eu/nicole?limit=all I think there’s definitely something for everyone!
